Spits trade MacDougall to Otters

The Windsor Spitfires have traded forward Mathew MacDougall to the Erie Otters.

The Spitfires will receive three draft picks in exchange for MacDougall, which include Erie's fourth-round pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection, Erie's fifth-round pick in 2022, and Sault Ste Marie's sixth-round pick in 2021.

MacDougall played 106 regular season games with Windsor, scoring 26 times with 23 assists. He has a -21 rating and 30 penalty minutes.

The Ontario Hockey League trade deadline is Thursday at noon.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
