Express washed out by Storm 136-97

The Windsor Express were defeated by the Island Storm 136-97 on Sunday.

Windsor fell behind the Storm by the end of the first quarter 37-18. Heading into the second quarter, The Express had difficulties keeping up. The Storm consistently held over a 15 point lead on Windsor heading into halftime. The third and fourth quarters played fairly similar. The Express had troubles getting an edge up on The Storm and finished the final quarter 39 points behind.

Derrick Nix scored the Express 16 points while Quinnel Brown added 14 points and two assists. Alex Johnson helped out with five rebounds and eight assists.

Windsor will take on The Moncton Magic tomorrow at 6p.m.
