London Knights co-owner Mark Hunter and the Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed to part ways.
The Leafs announced Tuesday morning that the assistant general manager is leaving the team, effective immediately.

"Following extensive discussions with Mark, he and the Toronto Maple Leafs have mutually agreed to part ways," said Toronto Maple Leafs President and Alternate Governor Brendan Shanahan. "I'd like to sincerely thank Mark for everything he's done for this organization over the last four years and I wish him nothing but the best in the future."
Hunter, who was born in Petrolia but grew up in Oil Springs, has been with the Leafs since 2014 after a successful stint with the London Knights as head coach and general manager.
He also served as head coach of the Sarnia Sting.
The Leafs recently announced the promotion of Kyle Dubas to general manager. He had also been an Assistant GM to Lou Lamoriello.
