Brunch lovers rejoice - a new Cora Breakfast and Lunch location is set to open its doors in north Chatham.
The restaurant, located at 595 St. Clair Street, will welcome guests starting on Monday morning.
Cora is a breakfast chain best known for its generous portions of fresh fruit and extensive menu offering more than 100 options.
The official grand opening will be held on April 12. A symbolic "Egg-Cracking Ceremony" will take place as the restaurant prepares its first omelette.
The founder of the national franchise, Cora Tsouflidou, will be present for the celebration in Chatham.
Cora Breakfast and Lunch originated in 1987 when Tsouflidou purchased a small diner in Montreal and began serving up classic breakfast dishes.
"The restaurant quickly became the talk of the town, often with lineups out the door," said a statement from the Cora Franchise Group.
Now, Cora is the largest sit-down breakfast chain in Canada. The new Chatham storefront is the 37th location in Ontario.
