Arrests made in Theft of Gasoline
A man and woman wanted in related to a series of gas thefts in Chatham-Kent last month have turned themselves in to police.
The pair allegedly stole gasoline from stations in Wallaceburg, Ridgetown, and Charing Cross.
Police released the surveillance footage to the public and the suspects were identified.
The 34-year-old Chatham woman and the 38-year-old Chatham man turned themselves in on Wednesday night.
Both are facing multiple counts of theft and possession of stolen property. They were released with a future court date.

Man Arrested for Driving Offences
A Highgate man is in trouble with the law after failing to stop for Chatham-Kent police.
On Friday, August 30, an officer spotted a suspended driver on Longwoods Road, near Communication Road in Chatham, thanks to the Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR).
When the officer tried to conducted a traffic stop, the man driving didn't stop and drove through a red light.
The driver was identified and confirmed to be operating the vehicle while suspended.
The 39-year-old from Highgate was located on Wednesday night in and arrested.
He was charged with flight from police and released with conditions and a future court date.

Youth Arrested for Bail Violations
A 17-year-old Chatham youth has been charged with failing to comply.
Police conducted a compliance check on Tuesday just after 11 p.m. to ensure the youth was abiding by curfew conditions.
Officers confirmed they were not complying with the release conditions.
The teen turned themselves in to police the next morning, and was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
After a bail hearing, he was released by the court with a future court date.

Woman Arrested for Failing to Attend Court
Chatham-Kent police arrested a 30-year-old woman for not making a court appearance.
She was located on Murray Street in Chatham on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman was taken to police headquarters, and held pending a bail hearing.
She is currently facing a number of charges, including failing to attend court, resist arrest, theft, two counts of mischief and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
