Crash on Charing Cross Rd. leaves man with critical injuries

Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate a serious collision on Charing Cross Road that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened between 9th and 10th Line at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Chatham-Kent police reported the 57-year-old man from Blenheim was airlifted to London Health Science Centre.

It's not known why the truck went off the road, but it ended up in a culvert that runs under the driveway of a Charing Cross Road home.

Police are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact Constable Kristen Charron of the Traffic Management Unit at 519-355-1092.
