Smile Cookies raise over $66K for Children's Treatment Centre Foundation

The 2026 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign was a big success for the Children's Treatment Centre (CTC) Foundation of Chatham-Kent.

A total of $66,252 was raised from April 27 to May 3 through the sale of smile cookies at the Tims locations owned by the Pritchard family and Mike and Paula Grail in Chatham, Wallaceburg, and Dresden.

That's down slightly from 2025, when the campaign brought in $67,986.

More than 100 volunteers spent hours baking, decorating, packaging, and delivering cookies from the Armouries kitchen.

The money will go towards programs and services at the Children's Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent that are not funded through government sources, including social work, therapeutic recreation, and music therapy.

"The support we receive through Smile Cookie is truly incredible," said Mike Genge, President and CEO of the CTC Foundation. "This campaign continues to show the strength and generosity of our community. Every cookie purchased helps provide important programs and services for children and families across Chatham-Kent."

There's been no word yet on how much was raised for the Victorian Order of Nurses' Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP) through cookie sales at Tim Hortons locations in Tilbury, Blenheim, Ridgetown, and Thamesville.

Across Canada, the Smile Cookie Campaign raised more than $23.3 million for over 700 charities and community groups.
