Two Londoners have been arrested and a third is being sought after a police raid on two west-end homes turned up multiple shotguns and a variety of drugs.
Officers with the London police guns and gangs section and the emergency response unit searched the homes in the area of Commissioners Road West and Viscount Road around 3:30 a.m. last Friday. Police seized a mossberg model 935 shotgun, a remington model 870 shotgun, a remington model 1100 shotgun, a ruger 22 calibre carbine rifle with over-capacity magazine, a traditions pursuit G4 ultralight 50 calibre muzzle loader, ammunition, stolen identification and bank cards, 9 grams of suspected carfentanil, 5 grams of suspected fentanyl, 14 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, and 54 grams of mannitol.
The total value of the drugs seized is $3,700, according to police.
A 35-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from London, were arrested. An arrest warrant has been issued for a third suspect - 33-year-old William Pieszchala of London.
The woman and Pieszchala are charged with 16 offences including careless storage of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm, possession of a restricted weapon or prohibited device knowing no authority unauthorized, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The woman is additionally charged with six counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order and two counts of failure to comply with release order.
The 28-year-old man is charged with two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The woman and 28-year-old man remain in police custody and are scheduled to re-appear in court Thursday.
Police continue to search for Pieszchala. He is described as White, approximately 5’10”, 170lbs, with a slim build, brown shoulder length hair, facial hair, and blue eyes.
Anyone who spots the 33-year-old or knows of his whereabouts should not approach him, but call 911 immediately, police said.
