MPP's Hope To Save Chesley Restorative Care

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker and Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson are calling on the health minister to keep the Chesley Restorative Care Program open.

In a joint letter to Minister Eric Hoskins, they stressed the importance of the unit and the impact its closure would have on the community.

The unit is scheduled to close in May as a cost saving measure by the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.

Walker and Thompson say with a growing senior population, the facility will be integral to the region's future. They have invited the health minister to come to the hospital in Chesley to see the unit in operation.
