Superheat in Kincardine has donated $25,000 to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation's fundraising campaign for a new MRI machine.
Employees at Superheat began a fundraising campaign that took place throughout 2025 called “$25K in 2025: Imaging a Better Tomorrow."
The campaign involved payroll deductions, matching donations from the company, and numerous employee-led and community-focused fundraising events.
A statement from the hospital foundation shares that "access to local MRI services will help reduce patient travel and waiting times, support hospital staff, and improve the overall delivery of care for patients and families across Kincardine and the surrounding region."
Superheat founder Norm MacArthur says supporting local initiatives like the new MRI machine is important for the wellbeing of the whole community.
"This campaign reflects what is possible when people come together around a cause that truly matters," said MacArthur. "Our employees stepped up in a meaningful way, and their collective efforts will have a lasting impact on patient care in our community."
"The success of this campaign is a testament to what can be achieved when a company and its people come together in support of local health care," said Becky Fair, President of Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation and HR Director at Superheat. "We are incredibly grateful to each contributor for their generosity, engagement, and commitment to improving care close to home."
