Perth County residents have a new way to virtually connect to staff at the Stratford-Perth Archives to conduct historical research.
Starting November 1, 2026 until March 31, 2027 the archives will offer a new free virtual research appointment service.
This new service will let people who cannot physically come to the archives building to connect with staff there. Virtual appointments will be subject to staff availability. Free 30 minute virtual appointments can be booked one week in advance and appointment hours are 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. every Tuesday to Friday. Researchers can book one virtual appointment per week.
Appointments can be made for a variety of reasons including asking staff about research topics, virtual access to a selection of scanned archival records/items, tutorials for using archive resources and more.
