Softball Canada releases core roster of players, featuring two Midwestern Ontario players

Softball Canada has released its core player roster.

Two Midwestern Ontario players and veterans of the team are on the roster yet again. Mitchell''s Tyler Pauli and Brussels native Ty Sebastian are both part of the core group that will represent Team Canada at the 2024 WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup Group Stage.

That tournament is scheduled for July 10-14 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Pauli and Sebastian are among 8 athletes named to the core roster.

The coaching staff will finalize the eight remaining athletes on the World Cup roster after a Men’s National Team Development Camp that will be held from May 15-20 in Kelowna, B.C.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
