Free WI-FI In Downtown Petrolia

The town of Petrolia is now offering free Wi-Fi throughout their downtown.

CAO Manny Baron says they had an agreement with the Sarnia Lambton Internet and Computer Centre, who placed towers on Petrolia's water tower to provide high speed internet for rural residents nearby.

Baron says the feedback has been very positive.

He says this will allow residents and visitors to use social media, and look up what Petrolia has to offer while they're in town.

Flood outlook issued by SCRCA

Winter storms over the past week brought varying amounts of snowfall across the region, with snowpacks measuring snow-water equivalents of 10 to 35 millimetres.
