There's a new judge in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia.
Justice Krista Lynn Leszczynski has worked as an assistant Crown Attorney for the past eight years, and was the Crown representative on local committees, including those responsible for developing a therapeutic court and an Indigenous court.
A news release posted by the Ministry of the Attorney General said Leszczynski, who was called to the bar in 2002, was appointed to the bench effective February 13.
Prior to joining the Crown's office, she practiced family law and civil litigation with a firm in Chatham. She also served on the board of directors of the Sexual Assault Survivor's Centre in Sarnia.
