Celtic Evening being staged at Imperial Theatre for 20th year

Over 30 students from Sarnia's School of Irish Dance will show off their intricate footwork at the Imperial Theatre Saturday evening.

The school is presenting its 20th annual Celtic Evening.

Administrator Mairin Ring said the students will be doing group performances in traditional costumes and will share the stage with Celtic fiddlers, pipers, Highland dancers and singers.

"We showcase our own work, that we've been working on all year with our dancing, and we have other performers -- Rant Maggie Rant is a well known Celtic band," said Ring.

Popular local singer/musicians Jim Lahey, Caitlin Mason and Gerry Moore are also set to perform.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and students and $60 for groups of four.

They're available at the Imperial Theatre Box Office.

The show starts at 7 p.m.
