Sarnia's city solicitor has resigned.

"We wish Mr. Tim well in his future endeavours," said Carter.

Carter also announced that Olivia Nisbet has accepted the position of assistant city solicitor and her first day will be November 2, 2020.

He said Nisbet is originally from the Sarnia area and obtained her JD (Juris Doctor) degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2017.

Carter said Nisbet has been a member of the committee of adjustment and planning advisory committee since April 2019.
