One of the founders of a Canadian band will be in Sarnia next month to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Great Big Sea.
Sean McCann will sing some of the classics and share some stories at Imperial Theatre on Thursday, March 23.
"I want to reconnect with all of my fans and friends who have come out to support us over the years and celebrate that 30-year anniversary," said McCann.
"It's going to be a great big night! We all deserve a little celebration after all we've been through."
Imperial Theatre's Executive Director Brian Austin said McCann's Great Big Songbook tour has been selling out across the province.
“We are very excited to have him here. The last time Sean was in Sarnia was in 2009 when he was here with his former bandmates Great Big Sea," said Austin. “Former Great Big Sea frontman Alan Doyle was here in 2018 and it sold out in just days.”
Although it has been over a decade since McCann visited Sarnia, he performed in nearby Chatham in 2016 as part of his Recovery Tour.
Tickets to see Sean McCann with his Great Big Songbook tour are currently on sale for $50 each and can be purchased online at imperialtheatre.net or by calling the box office at 519-344-7469.
