Stevie Go-Go goes into the Dragon's Den

A local tuk-tuk operator will make his television debut on Thursday.

Stevie Go-Go Owner/Operator Steve Devlin will appear on the CBC's Dragons Den to highlight his shuttle service, with the goal of expanding.

Devlin brought his bright green electric tuk-tuks to Sarnia-Lambton in 2022 with the support of city council.

Since then, the local business has been handed a few blows.

In August 2023, Stevie Go-Go was pulled off the road, and last August it was once again forced to put on the brakes after the tuk-tuks were impounded.

In a message to Sarnia News Today, Devlin shared his heartfelt gratitude for the ongoing community support.

"The past six months have been the hardest of my life, filled with challenges I never expected," said Devlin. "But through it all, your unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in my dream kept me going. Whether it was a kind word, a shared moment, or simply showing up, you helped me find the strength to keep moving forward. You’ve truly kept my dreams alive, and for that, I will be forever thankful. Together, we’re making something incredible happen."

There is a viewing party at Paddy Flaherty's, complete with a green carpet, at 7 p.m.

Dragon's Den airs on CBC at 8 p.m.
