Local businesses highlighted at chamber showcase

Dozens of local businesses will be showcasing their products and services at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Showcase Wednesday.

The third annual event highlights member businesses and non-profit organizations in the community.

Spokesperson Robin Cooke said it's a great chance to get a head start on your holiday shopping.

"We had over 600 people through the door last year, and I hope it's more this year," said Cooke.

There are over 60 vendors lined up, including several food options.

"They're all chamber of commerce members," said Cooke. "Bring everyone in the family. We have Dattolo's Pizza, we have the Bridge Café, Imperial City Brew House, so there's lots to eat and drink while you browse all these fantastic vendors."

The showcase is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Degroot's Nurseries on London Line.

Admission is free, but if you bring a canned good for the Inn of the Good Shepherd, you'll be entered into a draw for a prize.
