UPDATE: Weather related crashes along Eastbound Hwy. 402

Minor injuries were reported in a Highway 402 collision involving two tractor-trailers in the eastbound lanes at Nauvoo Road.

Lambton OPP closed the area to traffic shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday, but soon after 7:30 p.m., the eastbound lanes were shut down between Oil Heritage Road and Kerwood Road.

That closure was cleared and the highway reopened to traffic at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

West Region OPP shared a video to social media, detailing the snowy conditions on the highway, asking drivers to keep their lights on, leave space between vehicles, and to travel safely.
