Total Receipts 1489 cattle & 417 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a strong trade at prices $3-5 higher. Choice strs and hfrs 155.00 – 160.00 with a high of 169.50. Second cut $151.00 – $155.00. Cows sold on a strong trade at prices $3-4 higher.

Thursday Veal calves sold steady to the week’s decline. Beef calves sold fully steady. Lambs sold on a good active trade. Goats sold steady. Sheep sold lower.

Friday Calves sold on a strong active trade at prices $5-10 higher.

Yearlings sold actively at prices $2-3 higher.

Steers

Martin Metske of Lucknow consigned 11 hd that averaged 1550 lbs and sold for an average price of 157.47. 1 lim str weighed 1670 lbs and sold for 165.50.
