There was no structural damage to the Blue Water Bridge after an oversize load became stuck under the span Thursday morning in Port Huron. Michigan Department of Transportation spokesperson Jocelyn Hall says it happened just before 9am on Pine Grove Ave. "The truck appears to have been moving a buoy and must have been over height so it was an overload truck and was not able to clear the underside of the bridge," she says. "Unfortunately the buoy did get stuck. We did have some cosmetic damage only under the bridge." Hall says crews inspected the understructure of the bridge and all debris has been cleared from the roadway. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
