Gusty winds and a vehicle hitting a pole pressed Bluewater Power crews into action during a very wet Saturday night in Sarnia-Lambton.
The utility had to repair a snapped pole that caused an outage in the central part of the city, and take care of downed trees and branches.
A pole was snapped by a falling tree on Churchill Line.

Bluewater Power and Hydro One were still dealing with some small isolated outages into Sunday.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement but no warnings were posted for Sarnia-Lambton.
South-southeast wind gusts to 50 kilometres per hour were recorded at Sarnia's Chris Hadfield Airport overnight as the temperature climbed to 15 C, 59 F, by 5 a.m.
Further information about the crash that brought the utility pole down was not immediately available.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority issued an updated statement Sunday afternoon saying that upwards of 50 millimetres, two inches, of rain had fallen over the watershed over 24 hours. The authority said water levels were rising with the potential for localized flooding in floodplain areas, parks and farm fields. Residents are reminded to avoid watercourses and flooded areas.
The authority reported certain roads may be impacted by high water levels.
