COVID cases steady in Sarnia-Lambton, testing nears 25,000

Sarnia-Lambton's COVID-19 caseload is unchanged over the previous 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health's update Sunday night showed 343 confirmed cases, including 25 deaths and four active cases.

The health unit received an additional 276 COVID test results Sunday and have now received 24,948 results since the pandemic began.

The province continued an upward trend in new cases Sunday, reporting an additional 204 cases. Over the past week, Ontario has seen an average of over 190 new daily cases of COVID-19.

Sarnia's Community Services Coordinator Sean Hanlon said some fan favourites are back this year, including the multicultural food booths, inflatables, the Handmade Market and a hula hoop fun zone.
