Five arrested after homes forcibly entered

Five people have been charged after allegedly forcing their way into homes in Sarnia early Sunday morning.

City police said between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., suspects, believed to be in possession of weapons, drove around in a black GMC pick-up truck and entered various homes.

Investigators are asking for any security video the public may have in the 100 block of Brock Street North, in the 300 block of Exmouth Street and in the 100 block of Stuart Street.

Police said the suspects and victims were known to each other.

  • Chandrianna Nancy Cooper, 23, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house.
  • Ryan George Dionne, 30, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house.
  • Nicholas Andrew Dodorico, 24, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house.
  • Donovan Eli Joseph, 22, of Sarnia, faces one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house, and two counts of failing to comply with recognizance.
A young offender is also charged.

Investigators are asking for any security video the public may have from January 4, 2020:

  • The 100 block of Brock St North between the hours of 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.
  • The 300 block of Exmouth St between the hours of 4 a.m. and 5 a.m.
  • The 100 block of Stuart St between the hours of 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
