Sting unveil new signees

The Sarnia Sting's roster is taking shape ahead of the upcoming regular season.

Over the past week, the club has announced the signing of Ryan Pryce, Joshua Vogelsberg and Nikita Tarasevich to OHL Standard Player Agreements.

Pryce, 17, was selected by the Barrie Colts in the fourth round of the 2020 OHL draft.  The defenceman was acquired by the Sting in August for a conditional sixth round draft pick in 2024.  Pryce, a Toronto-native, had a goal and six assists in 32 games during the 2019-20 season with the Vaughan Kings.

Vogelsberg, 17, was selected by the Sting in the 13th round of the 2020 OHL draft.  The forward from Woodbridge had eight goals and nine assists in 36 games during the 2019-20 season with the Mississauga Reps U16 team.  Vogelsberg has also scored two goals for the Sting through two preseason games.

Tarasevich, 18, was selected by the Sting in the 10th round of the 2019 OHL draft.  The forward, who was born in Belarus, spent last season with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League, recording a goal and four assists in 11 games played.

Earlier this summer, the Sting announced the signing of 2021 first round pick Angus MacDonell, 2021 second round pick Ben Lalkin and 2021 third round pick Alexis Daviault.

The Sting’s regular season begins in Windsor October 7.
