Organizers are expecting a good turnout for this weekend's Brooke-Alvinston and Watford Fall Fair.
The three-day fair kicks off on Friday with the midway opening at 4:30 p.m.
Fair President Burton McKinlay said this is the first "full fair" in two years as the previous events were scaled down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We're delighted to have the fair back in full swing again," he said. "We've decided to make it a family-oriented fair even more so by eliminating entrance fees for people from high school down. Adults will pay $10 per person. We want people to come as a family."
McKinlay said luckily organizers were able to secure midway rides and are expecting many people to attend, specifically for the attractions.
"Some of the midway companies have gone out of business so there are more fairs looking for midways than there are midway companies," he said. "We had some meetings in February at the [Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies] conference with our midway provider and were able to get our regular midway group to come back."
Activities on Saturday will include a parade at 11 a.m. and a dance, beginning at 9 p.m.
McKinlay said entrance into the fair on Sunday will be free, however, it will cost $20 to see the demolition derby at 1 p.m.
The fall fair, which started in 1875, typically sees thousands of people over the weekend. McKinlay said with "perfect fall weather" in the forecast, he expects this year to be no different.
Environment Canada is calling for mostly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday with highs around 19 Celsius.
