Perch Creek Habitat Management Area in Sarnia will be closed for two days this week to accommodate parking lot upgrades.
The County of Lambton and St. Clair Region Conservation Authority said the parking lot and property will close to the public on Tuesday.
The 80-hectare property is owned by the county and managed by the conservation authority. It includes over five kilometres of hiking trails, as well as a forest, open meadow, and wetland.
Perch Creek habitat is located on Churchill Line.
The chamber also supports the budget’s focus on clean energy and climate resilience, with major investments in hydrogen innovation, hydroelectric upgrades, and energy efficiency.
Community Engagement Officer Jeanine Robertson says it will be open from Friday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event on the Bkejwanong Territory on May 17 and May 18.
