Ontario Provincial Police say a Sarnia man who was cycling to Winnipeg has been located and is safe.
Andrew Waters, 34, was reported missing on August 10, 2023.
He had been riding his silver e-bike when his family said they lost contact with him on August 8 east of Upsala, Thunder Bay.
"On August 20, 2023, an off-duty Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) officer was driving along Highway 17 outside of Upsala when they observed what looked to be a male resembling Andrew," OPP said in an update Sunday.
"The officer engaged the male and confirmed it was Andrew and notified officers from the Thunder Bay & Shabaqua Detachment."
OPP are thanking the public for their assistance in the matter.
