Sarnia Fire and police were called to the city's south end Wednesday afternoon after a structure fire was reported at the U-Haul storage facility on Confederation Street.
Large smoke plumes were seen billowing from the area shortly before 4 p.m.
Residents were asked to avoid Confederation Street between Trudeau Drive and Murphy Road.
