Heritage Sarnia-Lambton to host presentation on historical toys

There will be a new virtual Heritage Hour with Heritage Sarnia Lambton on Thursday.

The hour long panel presentation will focus on historical toys and is called Tinkering with Toys of Yesteryear.

It will start at 7:30 p.m. and go until 8:30 p.m.

It will highlight examples of toys in the Heritage Sarnia-Lambton network's collections and the history behind them.

"This presentation will tap into that festive spirit by exploring examples of toys that were popular in Lambton County," she said.

Aszalos added that this includes toy trucks, wooden daggers and a magic book.

Representatives from across the county will participate.

Heritage Hour is free and registration is required.

Anyone can register for the virtual event online.

This event is a part of an ongoing series of presentations highlighting Lambton's history.
