St. Pat's Miracle Mug Project gets funding boost

Grade 12 leadership students at St. Patrick's Catholic High School recently received some cash for the Miracle Mug Project.

A total of $1,050 was given through the Ontario Ministry of Education's Entrepreneurship Initiative Fund.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board said the money will be used to purchase materials, enhance project development, and create a platform for students to showcase and sell their mugs to the community, while raising money for St. Vincent de Paul Society.

"This seed funding will undoubtedly catalyze the creative process and empower our students to turn their ideas into reality. The success of this project is a testament to our students' innovative spirit and the Board's commitment to nurture entrepreneurship in education," said St. Clair Catholic's Entrepreneurship Initiative Coordinator Robert Walicki.

Director of Education Scott Johnson said the project not only enriches the educational experience but also contributes to the community.
