Sting fall 3-2 to the Greyhounds in second straight loss

The Sarnia Sting (17-26-3-0) dropped both their weekend road games after a 3-2 loss to the Soo Greyhounds (31-12-2-1) on Sunday.

The Greyhounds Bryce McConnell-Barker landed the winning goal at 7:53 in the third period.

Carter Kostuch and Tyson Doucette both scored for the Sting. Netminder Nick Surzycia made 31 saves in net and was named the games second star.

Sunday's outcome follows a 3-2 overtime loss to the Guelph Storm Friday night.

Sarnia is now sitting fourth in the west division and is 10-11-2-0 on the road.

The Sting are off until Thursday when they travel to Windsor to face the Spitfires. You can catch the game live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
