Whimsical and warm wishes on thousands of Valentine's Day cards were distributed locally Wednesday.
The Lambton County Library said 2,635 valentines were collected from patrons during its initiative this year.
The cards have been shared with the residents of the three long-term care homes operated by the county, and to those who attend the county's four adult day programs.
