A famous Canadian rocker will headline the second night of Petrolia's three-day Hard Oil Music Festival this August.
Tom Cochrane will take to the stage on Friday, August 16.
Cochrane is best known as the frontman for the rock band Red Rider and for his work as a solo singer-songwriter.
He has won eight Juno Awards, is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and an officer of the Order of Canada
He also has an honorary doctorate from Brandon University.
In September 2009, Cochrane was inducted onto the Canadian Walk of Fame.
More bands are expected to be added in the future.
The Town of Petrolia is marking its 150th anniversary this year.
