'Halfway There' secures three awards for Theatre Sarnia

Theatre Sarnia took home three awards during the Western Ontario Drama League (WODL) Festival Awards this weekend.

Jan Walker won an award for Outstanding Direction for the production of Norm Foster's Halfway There.

Holly Wenning took home the award for Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role for her role as 'Rita'.

Lastly, Halfway There received the award of Best Production of a Canadian Play.

The play was up for seven nominations in total.

The award ceremonies were held on Friday and Saturday at the Delta London Armouries in London.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
