Sarnia man found not guilty of manslaughter

Timothy Nahmabin, a Sarnia man charged in the 2020 death of a 69-year-old woman, has been found not guilty of manslaughter.

Superior Court staff confirmed the ruling by Justice Maria Carroccia to Sarnia News Today on Wednesday.

Nahmabin was initially charged with second-degree murder in the death of Nada Court. She was found unresponsive when officers were called to a Colborne Road residence on October 25, 2020.

The charge against Nahmabin was reduced to manslaughter in February 2022. In October 2023, he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
