Vessel capsizes in Sarnia Bay

Emergency crews conducted a marine rescue Sunday when a vessel capsized in the St. Clair River.

Point Edward Fire and Rescue, Sarnia Fire Rescue and Lambton EMS responded to the area of Sarnia Bay around 6 p.m.

Firefighters learned another recreational boater was in the area and was able to help tow the vessel to the boat launch.

Marine units were called in but cancelled as everyone involved was at the boat launch.
