DeWalt tools reported stolen in Dawn-Euphemia break-in

Provincial police are looking for suspects accused of breaking into a business on Florence Road in Dawn-Euphemia Township and stealing $5,000 in tools.

Lambton OPP said officers were called to the business on September 22, shortly after 9 a.m.

Police said three unknown people arrived at the property in a white pick-up truck at approximately 5:40 a.m.

Two suspects allegedly smashed a window and stole tools -- most of which were DeWalt brand -- and took off in the truck.

OPP described the first suspect as being a man in his 20s or 30s, roughly 5'8" or 6' in height, with a slender build. He wore sunglasses, a face mask that covered his mouth and nose, jeans, a light-coloured sweatshirt with reflective bars, black and white sneakers, and gloves.

The second suspect is also described as being a 20 to 30-year-old male, about 5'8" or 6', with a slender build. He wore jeans, black and white sneakers, a light-coloured hoodie with black drawstrings (with the hood up), and gloves.

Police said they also had flashlights.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who can identify the suspects and vehicle is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those who want to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
