Annual Round Dance at Lambton College

Lambton College will host its 9th annual Round Dance this weekend.

It's put on by Indigenous Student Council and the Indigenous Student Centre Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday.

The Round Dance is a cultural event based on First Nation People's traditions that honour the memories of their ancestors.

It will have traditional hand-drum singing, a toonie table, silent auction, spot dances, kids craft corner, photo booth and vendors.

The college said the event is offered in the interest of understanding and friendship.

Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.
