Local Liberal Association names Sarnia-Lambton candidate

Another candidate has joined the race in Sarnia-Lambton.

The Sarnia-Lambton Provincial Liberal Association said Rachel Willsie will carry the banner for the Liberal party in the February 27, 2025 election.

Willsie, 45, is a local nurse, educator and community advocate.

"With 15 years of experience in healthcare, and a deep commitment to mentoring future generations of nurses at Lambton College, I bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the political arena," said Willsie in a Facebook post.

Willise will run against incumbent Progressive Conservative Bob Bailey, NDP candidate Candace Young and the New Blue Party's Keith Benn.

Candidates have until 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 13 to register and have their name on the ballot.
