UPDATE: Crash causes gas leak, sends three to hospital

Lambton OPP, St. Clair Township Fire and Lambton EMS were called to a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning that resulted in a gas leak.

It happened just after 7 a.m. at Petrolia Line and Mandaumin Road in St. Clair Township.

Lambton OPP said three people were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Repairs by Enbridge Gas were completed Thursday night and affected roads were closed to traffic for about 36 hours.

Lambton OPP thanks the public for their patience and cooperation during the extended road closures.

Highway 402 speed limit set to increase next month

From Waterworks Road to 350 metres east of Colborne Road in Sarnia, and on a short stretch between Highway 401 to White Oak Road in London, the speed limit will be 110 kilometres an hour beginning July 31.
