Give the Kids a Lift hopes to reach $300K for Pathways

Pathways Health Centre for Children and Ironworks Health and Wellness Centre are teaming up for the Give the Kids a Lift fundraiser.

The charity bench press contest is in its 24th year and will be held on Saturday, March 22 at Ironworks in Point Edward.

Since its inception, the event has raised over $285,000 for Pathways.

The hope is to surpass the $300,000 mark in celebration of the centre's 50th anniversary.

The event is inclusive and is open to all ages and abilities.

"Anyone who has entered the contest realizes that it is much more than a bench press contest. It's about the members of Ironworks Gym who come together each year to bring out the best in each other and raise funds to support kids in Sarnia-Lambton," said Event Co-Coordinator Cam Davies.

Give the Kids a Lift will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
