Sarnia police have arrested a man accused of stealing from five unlocked vehicles in the Rapids Parkway area on July 10.
It's alleged items like sunglasses, cosmetics, gift cards, loose change, and a wallet that contained debit and credit cards were taken.
Police said the suspect then used the stolen debit/credit cards at the Northgate Car Wash and Circle K on Exmouth Street.
A 40-year-old man was arrested by officers outside a shelter facility on Monday, and held for bail.
He's charged with three counts of theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, fraudulent use of a credit card, and breach of probation.
