A fiery crash, involving a car and a motorcycle, closed a busy intersection in Sarnia's south end Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to Indian Road and Talfourd Street just before 4:20 p.m.
Police said a southbound car was intending to turn east onto Talfourd Street and the northbound motorcycle was turning left to go west when the driver was struck.
The driver of the car allegedly did not see the other driver.
The motorcyclist was thrown over the hood of the car and sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
Both occupants of the car were not injured.
A fire also quickly ignited both vehicles.
In a Facebook post, Sarnia Fire Rescue said all occupants were able to self-extricate before crews arrived.
A 21-year-old driver received a Provincial Offense Notice for turn not in safety.
