Stuff the Studio supports Inn's back to school drive

The second annual Stuff the Studio surpassed the inaugural event's total.

Over 730 pounds of school supplies were collected at Blackburn Media's mobile studio on Wednesday, in support of the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

That's over 100 pounds more than what was raised in 2024.

Local residents also donated just under 470 pounds of food and water and $1,887 in cash.

Inn Executive Director Myles Vanni said over the next couple of weeks, local volunteers from NOVA will help assemble backpacks for about 1,000 local elementary and secondary students.

Backpacks will be distributed later this month at Temple Baptist Church in Sarnia, as well as through the Inn's Mobile Market and at the Inn on John Street.
