Vintage in the Village to support Huron House Boys' Home

Classic cars and live music are set to return to Point Edward's Waterfront Park on Friday, August 29, for Vintage in the Village.

While the event is free, attendees can choose to support Huron House Boys' Home.

This month's event will feature music by Totally Acoustic.

The event will run from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.

A new start time was observed last month in order to accommodate two bands, but it will return to its normal hours.

The outdoor community initiative is held on the last Friday of every month during the summer, weather permitting. The last Vintage in the Village of 2025 is scheduled to take place at the end of September.

The event also supports different local organizations. Proceeds from a 50/50 raffle held last month supported The Inn of the Good Shepherd.

The forecast for this Friday includes a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of showers, and a daytime high of 22 C, 70 F.
