The Sarnia Sting looked weary from the trek to Ottawa, falling behind early and never recovering in a 9-3 loss to the 67's.
Ottawa got on the board barely a minute into the game, as Jasper Kuhta outraced everyone to recover a dump-in to the Sarnia zone that squirted out in front of the net.

Ondrej Ruml and Jack Dever also found the goal after that, chasing Sting goalie Patrick Quinlan after just 12 minutes.
The shake-up briefly awoke Sarnia, as leading scorer Beckham Edwards got the team on the board with his ninth of the season just 25 seconds later.
The momentum didn't carry over to the second period though, as Kuhta's notched another and Filip Ekberg scored to extend Ottawa's lead to 5-1.
In the third, Ben Pickell and Jordan Bax found the net for the Sting, but it was purely cosmetic, as Ottawa cruised to victory with four goals in the final frame.
The Sting lost their second in a row on their trip out east, after falling in Peterborough Thursday. The team had collected points in three straight prior to the road trip.
Sarnia sits in the basement of the West Division after 20 games, with a 6-10-4 record.
The Sting visit the Kingston Frontenacs on Sunday, November 16 at 4:05 p.m. You can catch the game live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM).
