A snow squall watch has ended for north and east Lambton.
Environment Canada said squalls with local snowfall amounts exceeding 15 centimetres were possible Thursday night and Friday.
The national weather agency said intense snow squall activity was expected to affect areas east of Lake Huron, but may also affect portions of Middlesex and Lambton counties.
The watch ended just before 6:30 a.m. on Friday, but the forecast still included a risk of snow squalls in the morning for parts of the county.
Gusty winds up to 60 kilometres an hour could also result in poor visibility in areas of blowing snow.
Motorists are advised to adjust their driving to the changing road and weather conditions.
