The Soo Greyhounds scored five times in the second period en route to a 7-3 win over the visiting Sarnia Sting Sunday afternoon.
The Sting stayed close through the opening period before the Greyhounds broke the game open in the second frame.
James Barr scored his first of the season for the Sting in the first period. Matthew Manza had two goals for Sarnia in the loss.
Sting goalie Charie Laroque made 35 saves for Sarnia.
Sarnia falls to 7-17-3-1 with the loss, the Sting's third in a row.
Sarnia suffered a 3-1 loss to the Wolves in Sudbury Friday night. Beckham Edwards was the lone goal scorer for the Sting.
The Sting kicked off their northern road trip with a 2-1 loss to the Battalion in North Bay.
The Sarnia Sting visit the Guelph Storm on Friday.
